Radio 3FM

In order to finance the desired research we need to acquaint as many people as possible with Across Europe. The media are highly important in this respect! In addition to being mentioned in several newspapers and magazines Across Europe can count Radio 3FM among its proud partners and supporters.

DJs Joey and Wijnand have even followed our example by climbing on their bikes themselves and broadcasting a complete program about this!

for Across Europe

During the night of Thursday 8 March to Friday 9 March it was Radio 3FM DJs Joey and Wijnand’s turn to cycle for KiKa. For 3 hours they rode their bikes and people were invited to support them with a donation. They were helped along by verbal support from retired racing cyclist Michael Boogerd, tv cook Rudolf van Veen’s cupcakes and tunes from rock band The RED17! Thijs Zonneveld, Rudolf van Veen and John Jones joined them on their bikes for part of the way and Robert and Nicky from Across Europe and The RED17 ran the pedals round for a bit as well.

Magnificent contributions from listeners, AllBikes and Shimano helped Joey and Wijnand to collect the wonderful amount of € 8310.- for Across Europe and KiKa.
